About Us

The company was established in April 1973, originally as Brookside Joinery operating from Darley Abbey Mills. In 1977 it became a Limited Company and changed its name to Davlyn Construction Limited. In 1985 the Company purchased a plot of land in the Sir Francis Ley Industrial Park which it subsequently developed to provide the firms offices, workshop and builders yard from where it still operates.

After steady and controlled growth for over 50 years Davlyn is still family owned using a base of directly employed site operatives and management staff.

Our aim on all projects is to work as part of a team, maintaining good working relationships with the design team, cost consultants and clients. We constantly strive to maintain a high quality end product and are capable of undertaking fast track projects when the need arises.

The Company's future plans are to continue to expand in a pattern of controlled growth, whilst maintaining its professional and personal service, whatever the size or nature of the project.
